Band Stand Music / American Pro Sound is owned and operated by Cathy and Bennie Davis. Band Stand has been open in Marshall for a little over 7 years, having opened on December 16, 1999. However, they have been in the music store business for much longer. Cathy's and Bennie's first store was opened in October of 1983 in Lufkin Texas and remained opened until May of 1998. Cathy and Bennie sold their store and moved back home to the Marshall area.

The Davis's believe that a business should be run with the customer in mind. They strive to provide the finest equipment available for a reasonable price. They understand that someone might buy an item out of a magazine or off the internet for a few dollars less, but no one can match their service.

In 2003, there seemed to be a need for a sound company in this area, so American Pro Sound was developed to fill that need. This department specializes in P.A. installation in churches, but they also install surround sound systems in homes, P.A. sound systems for ball parks, and P.A. rental.They can provide a P.A. system for a small corporate meeting up to an out door concert.

Band Stand Music tires to provide ther customers with the finest equipment on the market, but still have something for everyone and every budget.
